The new GenuZip® knee joint bandage combines the functionality of the BORT classic StabiloGen, which is proven in many cases, with a novel closing system for knee joint bandages.

Considering the problems during putting on of knee joint bandages, a zip has been integrated. Due to this innovation the GenuZip® without any difficulties can be put on at the lower leg, by means of the zip fastener be closed and afterwards be positioned at the knee joint. The troublesome slipping of the bandage over toe and heel is completely unneeded, also slipping off the shoes. To put off the bandage the zip simply has to be opened and the bandage be removed.

Just for patients with additionally existing lumbar spine problems compliance is clearly improved, since the impeded bending down during putting on and removing the bandage is inapplicable.

The micro fibre quality and the pad in the hollow of the knee care for a pleasant wearing comfort, the integrated patella silicone ring assures physiological guidance of patella and effects an intermittent massage. The GenuZip® can be worn at the right as well as at left side, it is available in sizes small up to x-large and in colors beige, blue and silver.
